Speedway season is kicking off around New Zealand.

Speedway NZ’s second update this month has important information for most speedway competitors, and includes:

• Midgets – EFI clarification
• Modifieds – Throttle return spring rule reinstated
• Sidecars – New date for South Island Championship
• Solos – New date for South Island Championship
• Sprintcars – New date for South Island Championship
• Streetstocks – Radiator protection mesh
• Superstocks – Goodyear tyre trial
• Wheels and Control ECU’s – New approved products

2012/13 – New Zealand Stockcar Champs – Woodford Glen – 3/4 Jan 2013
2012/13 – New Zealand Streetstock Champs – Dunedin – 4/5 Jan 2013
2012/13 – New Zealand Superstock Champs – Nelson – 11/12 Jan 2013
2012/13 – New Zealand Sidecar Champs – Moore Park – 11/12 Jan 2013
2012/13 New Zealand Superstock Grand Prix: Woodford Glen – 18/19 Jan 2013
2012/13 New Zealand Midget Champs – Ruapuna – 25/26 Jan 2013
