That’s right, it’s the TWS Auckland Superstock Champs on Saturday 17th of November at Waikaraka Park.

Bring the whole family to witness 20 something Superstocks battling it out for the title at Waikaraka Family Speedway.

Proudly spoonsored by Technical Welding Services (TWS), this is an event not to be missed.

There’s also Streetstocks from Christchurch, Hamilton, Rotorua, and Gisborne, along with Stockcars, Saloons, Streetstocks, Modifieds, Sidecars and Ministocks.

Tribute to Christchurch – Ashburton Speedway – April 3rd 2011

Tribute to Christchurch featuring Sidecar Champs, Saloon GP featuring Murray Guy’s tribute to Jo Giles as well as GP’s for Ministocks; hobbies & Cs & Youth Ministock Series as well as six shooter action. Dave Walsh will sponsor the saloon cars for this meeting and will himself drive the 24C car that Jo drove last race meeting at Ashburton in January.

HAS BEEN CANCELLED for 2011!

According to the official facebook page:

It is with regret that we have decided to cancel this years Winged Thunder 4. Unfortunately due to the commitments of our competitors and the quality of the show that we like to deliver we feel that it is best to postpone next year and run Winged Thunder 4 then. We would like to thank all our followers and competitors for their loyalty and commitment to our show and trust that you understand our reasons for this.

When: Sunday 27th March 2011 – Racing 12pm – 5pm, Gates open 10am
Where: Harrisville Speedway Ohakea, adjacent to the Ohakea Airforce base.
What: Sprintcars, Midgets, Six Shooters, Youth Ministocks
Cost: $20 Adult, $5 Child (5-15yrs), $40 Family (2adults and up to 4 children)
